“The Councilman” is a comedy about a municipality hit by a reverse financial scandal. When Mayor Tom Eide discovers that the city’s cellulose fund has been placed in high-risk investments, he fears the worst. However, it turns out that Roeng has won big and earned over NOK 4 billion. As the Parliament and the municipal minister seek to claim the money, the municipality is in a hurry to spend it. Mayor Tom Eide aims high!
